“Chicken Bastardo” from “Jamie Cooks Italy”

Kirstin: How could I resist a recipe that requires 20 chillies AND 20 cloves of garlic, especially with a name like bastardo? Of course I couldn’t. And so after a lovely walk in Kent, just the four of us, we came back and I set to making this glorious dish. The recipe was ridiculously simple to make, the resulting garlic/chilli marmalade was divine, if a little hot. Both kids loved it. And so did us grown ups. I plan to make this again, as the colder weather sets in. Because winter is coming…
