Maureen: Well, we failed spectacularly when it came to doing Gordon in December, so perhaps we’ll fare better with Nigel Slater.
Kirstin: I hope so.
Maureen: This book has been getting rave reviews. It made a few “Best of 2015” cookbook lists.
Anna: This should be interesting.
Maureen: It’s been awhile since we did one of his books. It’s probably time to try his recipes again.
Kirstin: Let’s do it.
Maureen: At least it’s not a month of healthy cooking and eating, which are what all the new releases are for January. Bleurgh.
Kirstin: This should be good.

Can’t wait to see what you cook and think of this book! I’m umm-ing about buying it or not 🙂
Same as Dani above, this is one I might like so interested to hear what you think! I got Nigella but only opened it last night so haven’t read it all yet, looks great though, lots of things I want to make!
I also got Rachel Allen’s Coast but haven’t had a chance to look at it yet.
Happy New Year!
Paging through it last night, I have to say that I found lots of good recipes, so I’m cautiously optimistic that this will be a good month.
This book is actually called The Kitchen Diaries III
Thanks for pointing that out. As it happens, we’re both right. On the cover it says, “A Year of Good Eating,” and on the spine it says, “The Kitchen Diaries III.” Its full title is, “A Year of Good Eating: The Kitchen Diaries III.” So now I’ve updated this post.
