“Wholemeal bread” from “Brilliant Bread”

It was a rainy day in November and I decided to make a loaf of brown bread to go with some jam I had made in the summer. Having grown up with an Aga in the 80s, I can faithfully say I have tried many a wholemeal bread recipe. However, none have compared with this recipe. This was easy, did what it was supposed to and was the most perfect accompaniment to the strawberry jam. It was also good for our daughter to have the next day for her sandwiches. Definitely a loaf I will try again. IMG_7989 copy
