Tom: I expected not to like this. I was worried that pouring all that butter on at the end would ruin all the crispy skin that I like so much.
Kirstin: Because it’s all about the crispy skin for Tom and roast chickens.
Tom: But it didn’t muck it up and it was really yum. And better still, there was also crispy onion which I love even more than crispy chicken.
Kirstin: Did the onion help to make a good gravy?
Tom: Absolutely. So even if we don’t do this exact recipe in the future, we should certainly steal the idea putting an onion underneath.
Toby: It was moist and tasty.
Viv: I particularly liked that garlic butter. And we used thyme from the Italian garden.
