“Upside down apple and cardamom tart” from “Leon 2”

Tom: This is really lovely and light and crisp. Puddings can be a bit stodgy sometimes, and this so isn’t.

Julia: The apples are perfectly cooked. But I can’t taste the cardamom.

Roger: It’s deceptive that such simple ingredients can result in such a sublime dish!

Kirstin: Seconds, Roger? More custard?

Julia: What sort of apples did you use?

Kirstin: It doesn’t say, but I used Braeburn apples. Would I make it again? I would, actually.

Holly: Er…. um…. er….

Kirstin: Holly had seconds. With custard!

Tom: This went well with the pizza, as well, because it was thin and crispy.

Kirstin: And you know, it was super easy to make. I would normally be a bit scared of tarte tatin, but this was totally not difficult. And very yummy.
